Welcome to the homepage of the 2020/2021 Reborn EU Continental Championship !

Due to Covid-19 crisis, we cannot play this tournament IRL.

That’s why this tournament will be played on untap.in and will starts the 17th of may!

2020/2021 Reborn EU Continental Championship Rules

The tournament will have 3 different phases:

Pool Phase 1 : Starting on 17th of may

  • Phase 1 coverage is HERE

  • Format for this phase is Classic

  • Decklists are needed before the start of the pool phase on the 17th of may

  • There will be 4 groups of 4 players named A/B/C/D

  • Each player will face all others players from his group once in BO3

  • Each group can include at maximum 2 players of the same country

    (except if due to a report of a qualifying place for the 4 best non qualified players from EU ladder)

  • Draw for this phase will be posted in live on the Facebook page as early as possible, when all the 16 players has confirmed their “venue”

  • [Edit 14/05/2021: due to reports, hat draw has been updated] Each player will be randomly drawn from these 3 Different “hats” :

    • Hat A = 2020/21 Major Winners (Budapest 1 & 2; Online 1 & 2) = 3 players > 1 is forfeit so 1 reported place

    • Hat B = Best Ranked Player of a country on the EU Ladder = 7 players > 1 is forfeit so 1 reported place

    • Hat C = 4 best non qualified players on the EU Ladder + “reported” qualified players = 6 players

      (you can find qualified player’s lists below)

      • Groups will be composed this way :

        • Group A/B/C = Hat A + Hat B + Hat B + Hat C

        • Group D = Hat B + Hat C + Hat C + Hat C

  • Registeration and coverage for the 1st side event is HERE

Pool Phase 2 : starting 1 week after the Pool Phase 1 is ended

  • Phase 2 Coverage is HERE!

  • Format for this phase is Contemporary

  • Decklists are needed before the start of this pool phase

  • There will be 2 groups of 2 players named A/B

  • Each player will face all others players from his group once in BO3

  • Pool Phase 2 Groups will be composed by the following players from the Pool Phase 1 :

    • Group A = 1st from Pool A & C + 2nd from Pool B & D

    • Group B = 1st from Pool B & D + 2nd from Pool A & C

  • 1st and 2nd from both groups will be qualified for top 4

Top 4 : starting 1 week after the Pool Phase 2 is ended

  • Format for this phase is Core

  • Decklists are needed before the start of this phase

  • There will be two semi finals that will be composed by the following players from the Pool Phase 2 :

    • Semi-final A = 1st from Pool Phase 2 Group A VS 2nd from Pool Phase 2 Group B

    • Semi-final B = 1st from Pool Phase 2 Group B VS 2nd from Pool Phase 2 Group A

  • Winners of will play the final in BO5!
