This month we are hearkening back to the ancient era of 2011 to play Core when it still had three blocks: Blocks 3, 4, and 5. This one’s for the old-school players! We’re excited for the opportunity to play WoW TCG on a free browser-based client and connect each region from a safe distance. Got 2 hours to spare every other day? Then come play with us!

Second Player Advantage: These past few months we are trying something new. Players who play second will start the game with a Mark of Honor Card (seen below). This card can be used once to pay costs as though it were a resource, giving the player a boost in tempo or speed and attempt to overcome the 60/40 hill that most second players die on. Players can insert it into the game by using the menu bar on the left hand side of the game screen.
Core 3/4/5 Format: This month we are throwing back to a format not seen for 15 years! All black-bordered cards from Blocks 3 (Drums Block), 4 (Scourgewar Block), and 5 (Worldbreaker Block), with the following exceptions. For specific inclusions, see Set Legality in the Game Policy.
Core 3/4/5 Banlist: Reminder that the following cards are banned in Core 3/4/5 for Reborn events:

Round Duration: Each round will run for approximately 48-72 hours during which you will need to contact your opponent to coordinate a time to play.
Match Duration: Each match should be timed with a time limit of 90 minute. Each match will be a best-of-three during which a side deck of 10 cards may be used to modify your deck for games two and three. Both players are responsible for marking game start and following End of Match Procedure when 90 minutes have passed. (See: Game Policy) Both players may agree at the beginning of a match to play past the Match Duration.
Signups: Message @Nathan / Jolly / THE MOGDAR on Discord with two things: 1) Your Discord name. 2) Your decklist. We need 1) to identify you and 2) to make sure your deck is consistent throughout the event.
